THOMAS R. HARPER is an experienced attorney practicing in the various legal areas offered by Becker Bouwkamp Walker, P.C. Tom’s varied experience includes complex litigation, business transactions, health law and HIPAA, as well as general practice. Tom received his BA degree from the University of Michigan in Economics and Political Science and received his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Tom has practiced extensively before the courts throughout the State of Indiana and his depth of experience in litigation, transactional law, and consulting positions him to represent clients to meet their greatest needs, including domestic relations/family law, business litigation, and general litigation. Tom has lectured in areas of litigation, HIPAA, and health law, among others. He is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Hamilton County Bar Association, and Indiana State Bar Association. Tom has previously been registered as a Mediator and held a certification in Healthcare Compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association. In addition to past volunteer and pro bono opportunities, Tom has been a Member and past President of the Board for the Autism Society of Indiana, a Member of the Board for the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, and a Member of the Board for the Binford Redevelopment and Growth (BRAG) community organization.
