Wendy Kaufman
Wendy Kaufman focuses her practice in the area of family law. Wendy started her legal practice in the area of estate planning, wealth transfer, and life insurance. Her switch to family law came after her own contentious divorce in 2011. Having seen the impact a difficult divorce can have on a family, Wendy decided that divorce could be accomplished in a more civil, cost effective manner. Her practice reflects a dedication to alternative dispute resolution and allowing her clients to craft unique dissolutions focusing on the needs of each individual family she serves. Wendy received her BS from Indiana University in 1989. She graduated from IU McKinney Law School in December 1991, and was sworn into the Bar in June, 1992. She is a registered Mediator, Guardian Ad Litem, and a trained collaborative practitioner. She resides in Carmel, Indiana, with her husband Dave and dog Stella. She is the proud mother of four adult children and two step-sons. Her hobbies include reading, baking, cooking, and binge-watching medical shows. Wendy was the founding president of Women for Riley and has served in numerous volunteer leadership capacities in the Central Indiana area.
